When the Stage comes to you
We at KULTUR AM BETTRAND (culture at the bedside) create cultural experiences for people of all ages who, due to health reasons, cannot enjoy the beauty and healing qualities of music and word in a public setting. We bring the arts to the bedside, offering private, meaningful moments at home or in health facilities to those who would otherwise have to go without - completely free of charge.
Whether music from various genres, poetry, literature or storytelling, whether for the very young or the very old, our catalog of professional cultural artists is carefully curated and offers inspiring experiences for everyone.
You can contact us yourself or leave this to a family member, friend or someone who represents you. Below are answers to some questions that may come up. Duo Campanula
Full of joy for life, captivating, unexpected and surprising - Anita and Lisa's repertoire ranges from calm and contemplative music to touching melodies and lively, mood-boosting dance tunes. They create inventive original compositions, where the violin, the Schwyzerörgeli and yodelling take turns in the spotlight.
Florian Favre

Gabriela Bonetti
Gabriela Bonetti invites you to dive into the world of fairy tales with her and forget space and time. Small creative surprises and beautiful music accompany a deep experience of fairy tales, stories and poetry.
Han Sue Lee
The alligators grunt, the mosquitoes are too lazy to bite, a hoarse rooster croaks on the steaming dung heap, the jungle beat groans and rumbles forward, refusing to stop." Han Sue Lee Tischhauser is a bluesman with edges and roughness. He doesn’t write music; he plays it. Swamp blues, lo-fi boogie trash, American-Caribbean-African-Pacific island music. He dryly remarks, 'It's just blues.

Hans Feigenwinter
When Hans Feigenwinter sits down at the piano and beings to improvise, anything is possible. The music emerges in the moment, shaped by its surroundings. This allows the atmosphere in the room to be effortlessly captured - creating a sense of urgency in intimate concerts that is quite different from a conventional setting.
Jael Bertschinger
Whether with the grand pedal harp of the Celtic harp, Jael captivates her audience with resonant, uplifting and delicate tones. Her expressive and atmospheric harp music creates connections and brings strength.
Corin Curschellas
Corin Curschellas, with her clear, open natural voice, is a seeker of old sounds and a tracker of Grisons folk culture. She has always dared to navigate the musical divide between her inherited homeland and the various places she has explored around the world, thus creating a deeply personal musical home for herself.
Duo Zaugg & Widmerin
The DUO Zaugg&Widmerin creates its own cosmos of sound with voices and accordion, from folk songs to art songs and baroque pieces. Traditional songs are arranged, classical songs reinterpreted or natural yodelling yodelled. Sarah and Olivia playfully explore traditional songs and create something new with the joy of transformation.
Fraynni Rui
Fraynni Rui is a Venezuelan violinist based in Basel. For her, music and the violin are more than just a profession; they are her language, her way of understanding the world, and a means of sharing her essence with others. Though rooted in classical music, she also experiments with various styles, such as Latin folk songs and other genres, constantly seeking an honest and direct musical connection between performer and audience.
Goldschatz
Hank Shizzoe
Hank Shizzoe loves mountains and forests, tasteful guitar sounds, motorcycles, and the art of crafting songs. His deep voice and well-structured lyrics touch with straightforward honesty, while his noble guitar technique exudes a quiet, fiery temperament.

Withe charm, warmth and a touch of mischief, he brings lightness and laughter - especially where they are needed most. As part of KULTUR AM BETTRAND, he visits adults, creating moments of warmth and joy.
Judith Bach
Claire sings and chats in a free-spirited Berlin dialect, bouncing from moment to moment, losing the thread but never losing herself. She flies without wings, accompanied by Mozart at the piano. She quickly lands in heaven with her little wise grandmother, who becomes so vivid before the audience's eyes that one might think she has briefly risen from the dead for the evening.
Cyrano

Erna Dudensing
Erna Dudensing tells stories for young and old alike, in dialect, standard German, Romanian and Danube Swabian. If desired, she can also be booked with her partner, who accompanies the stories on the harmonica.
Freda Goodlett
Freda Goodlet possesses what few singers have: a divine voice. She carries the heritage of her homeland and its rhythm and blues culture in her heart. The American, who has lived in Switzerland for over 20 years, sings soulful pop that is very authentic, experienced, grounded, felt, and close to life.
Gwendolyn Masin
Gwendolyn Masin’s love for playing the violin stems from her insatiable curiosity to understand human nature, musical expression, and the psychological connection between the two. She is a daring and exciting artist who happily ventures into unknown territory.
Hanna Scheuring
The actress Hanna Scheuring reads various texts on the themes of love and life, peppered here and there with some satirical passages from Loriot to Elke Heidenreich. Whether it's stories about a 14-year-old woman's first love, an older lady who falls in love with her tenant again, or the absurdities of family life, relationships, and bureaucracy, Hanna creates touching yet lighthearted moments of togetherness.

Melanie Oesch
In 2016, the resident of the Bernese Oberland published her first children's book, "Elin the Tree Elf Girl," followed by the second volume, "Elin Meets New Friends," in 2018. The stories are set in the forests of the Eriz Valley, Melanie's place of power, and are influenced by her childhood memories and vivid imagination. At KULTUR AM BETTRAND, the nature-loving mother of two takes listeners on an adventure with the lively tree elf girl, enchanting both big and small children with her fairy-tale world.
Sibylle Baumann
Sibylle Baumann tells stories for young audiences in a magical, playful and passionate way.
For over 20 years, she has been fascinating audiences with her spontaneity, wit and stories that have never been heard before. No Little Red Riding Hood and co., nothing is read from a script – everything is created in the moment, in dialogue with the children. Every performance is unique. Authentic. Surprising. And guaranteed not to be boring.
Cyrano
Magician Cyrano knows how to make children's eyes light up. His magic tricks are astonishing, age-appropriate, and, above all, very funny. The children are actively involved in the performance and help bring the magic to life – with hocus-pocus, a magic wand, and snail slime!

Miriflu Engeler
She loves to take people away from everyday life. Into the world of fairy tales, myths, and newly born stories every day. She tells them freely, making them come alive in the space, in our minds. They carry you far away and right to yourself. And in the end, there remains this feeling: Somehow, it will all be okay!
Teenage Songbook
Finja and Sophie have known each other since preschool. After years apart, they reunite as teenagers, begin singing together and harmonize perfectly from the start. Jacqueline Bernard
Jacqueline Bernards' Bernese children's songs are fresh, cheeky, and cheerful. The songs capture the interests of children aged three to eleven, covering themes like favorite dinosaurs and lost "nushis," fun holidays by the sea, boring afternoons at home, and dreams of flying. All of this is wrapped up in catchy melodies, chansons, and pop songs with a hint of jazz and rock 'n' roll.
Sarah Bowman
As a mother of two school-age children, Sarah is used to singing children's songs. Although English is her native language, she speaks German. She sings and plays songs from around the world in many different languages and music styles. She looks forward to learning your child's favorite song to create an even more personal experience.
Trummer

Since becoming a father, he has expanded his repertoire to include children's songs. He has reinterpreted standards from Swiss children's music, given new life to pieces by Mani Matter, and occasionally includes his own songs, like the love story of the little bird from Adelboden.
