When the Stage comes to you

We at KULTUR AM BETTRAND (culture at the bedside) create cultural experiences for people of all ages who, due to health reasons, cannot enjoy the beauty and healing qualities of music and word in a public setting. We bring the arts to the bedside, offering private, meaningful moments at home or in health facilities to those who would otherwise have to go without - completely free of charge.

Whether music from various genres, poetry, literature or storytelling, whether for the very young or the very old, our catalog of professional cultural artists is carefully curated and offers inspiring experiences for everyone.

You can contact us yourself or leave this to a family member, friend or someone who represents you. Below are answers to some questions that may come up. Here you'll find our contact details, phone availability and other helpful resources. For everything else, we can be reached quickly via the contact form. We will get back to you shortly by phone or e-mail.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Warm regards,

Albin Brun

Albin Brun

Albin Brun plays his own compositions on the Schwyzerörgeli in a distinctive, soulful manner. Often, the melodies carry a cheerful melancholy, evoking a sense of both homesickness and wanderlust. The wide world he has traveled with his music feels as much at home in his instrument as do the beloved mountains.

Andrea Samborski

Andrea Samborski

Born on Vancouver Island, Canada's west coast, where rainforests meet the ocean, Andrea grew up amongst bears, whales and ancient cedars. Her visceral, poetic songwriting, her voicing straight from the marrow, and the palpable sense of connection felt at her live shows highlight Andrea's work as an artist.

Ariane von Graffenried

Ariane von Graffenried

Ariane Von Graffenried's lyrics shift from the concrete to the poetic and back again, sometimes in German, sometimes in English, sometimes in dialect. She is a storyteller of the secret and the hidden, a reporter from the rough yet elegant underbelly of the fashionable, a literary weaver of the provincial underground.

Baze

Baze

Basil Anliker has a fine sense for language and the sound that carries it—an unmistakable tone that runs through his work. He is a cornerstone of the scene. With a powerful voice and sharp lyrics, he raps in dialect about people on the brink, both rough and wistful. The melancholic artist reflects on life and death, being a precise observer and razor-sharp lyricist.

Blathnaid Fischer

Blathnaid Fischer

Blathnaid Fischers Harp music invites you to sit back and just enjoy the moment. She lets her fingers fly, making the harp sparkle with a wide repertoire of traditional and contemporary music.

Brigitte Hirsig

Brigitte Hirsig

Brigitte Hirsig tells fairy tales, improvises stories, and creates captivating illustrative soundscapes with her voice and words. There is laughter, tears, and wonder. No dusty fairy tales, no dripping morals, no false romanticism—no, what you encounter is life in the form of images. Witty, touching, clever, and profound."

Christoph Simon

Christoph Simon

Christoph Simon captivates with his calm presence, diving into witty and absurd situations while also contemplating philosophical thoughts about life and humanity. His work is a wonderful amalgam of humor and melancholy, modesty and honesty, blending small tragedies with a "glass is half full" view on life.

Alexandre Pelichet

Alexandre Pelichet

Alexandre Pelichet enjoys the tragicomic, the humor that lies behind all the seriousness of life. Through humor, life becomes even more worthwhile, lighter, a beautiful thought even more beautiful, and the complicated suddenly becomes quite simple. The stories he tells aim to merge the mind and heart.

Anna Känzig

Anna Känzig

"The musical universe of Anna Känzig knows no bounds. She loves to experiment with various musical styles and feels at home in multiple genres, but her favorite home remains folk. With her crystal-clear voice, she tells her stories wrapped in songs, the beauty of which resonates long after the concert has ended."

Aude Pivôt

Aude Pivôt

Aude Pivôt enjoys combining the past and present with her cello, from Bach to contemporary composers. With gentleness and authenticity, she draws inspiration from nature for her improvisational explorations, accompanying herself with her voice. Upon request, she also plays in a duo with violin or piano.

Benedikt Meyer

Benedikt Meyer

Benedikt Meyer is a historian and cabaret artist. He shares curious stories from the past, convinced that people back then were just as absurd, clumsy, strange and endearing as we are today. The result is poetic time travel and humorous history lessons.

Bluescht

Bluescht

With imagination and sensitivity, Bluescht reinterprets traditional folk songs, adding their own pieces and natural yodeling. Seraina Clark’s versatile vocals both touch and surprise, while Hannes Fankhauser’s creative double bass accompaniment complements beautifully. Bluescht radiates an infectious joy and authenticity, bringing a refreshing, uplifting energy to their music.

Caroline Chevin

Clíodhna Ní Aodáin

Clíodhna Ní Aodáin

Clíodhna Ní Aodáin's cello is the sound of her soul. She plays the old melodies of Ireland and Scotland with a beautiful presence that touches the heart. Her voice is equally enchanting—ranging from vocalizations to songs and stories, all delivered with the soft accent of her hometown, Dublin.

Ana Oltean

Ana Oltean

Ana Oltean once said, "As a child, I always wanted to have a warm, full flute sound. I worked for years, searching and searching..." Ana still searches; she finds and searches again. Her sound, her love for classical music and beyond, and her determination to convey this love make Ana’s performances special.

Anna Trauffer

Anna Trauffer

Anna Trauffer is a fine magician who not only sings while playing the double bass but also creates music with everything else at her fingertips: glasses, an old zither, or a music box. With her interpretations of traditional folk songs, she irresistibly captivates everyone, from the very young to the old.

Barbara Gasser

Barbara Gasser

Bettina Boller

Bettina Boller

Whether she improvises freely or tonally, interprets a solo composition by Bach, Prokofiev, Ysaÿe, or plays (folk/church) songs: Bettina Boller’s soulful performance touches, comforts, entertains, and inspires—it feels good.

Brendle/Weiss

Brendle/Weiss

A musical ping-pong - playful, touching, quirky and tender at the same time, the two Bernese musicians Damaris Brendle and Florian Weiss play pieces from their current repertoire.

Christian Buck

Christian Buck

Whether it's music from the 19th century, Spanish romantic works, or folkloric modernity, Christian Buck transports listeners into the world of classical guitar with its rich colors and melancholic beauty. In a small and intimate setting, the guitar's charm is strikingly developed: with profound playing and attentive listening, the musician enchants his audience.

And guaranteed not to be boring.

Cyrano

Cyrano

Miriflu Engeler

Miriflu Engeler

She loves to take people away from everyday life. Into the world of fairy tales, myths, and newly born stories every day. She tells them freely, making them come alive in the space, in our minds. They carry you far away and right to yourself. And in the end, there remains this feeling: Somehow, it will all be okay!

Jacqueline Bernard

Jacqueline Bernards' Bernese children's songs are fresh, cheeky, and cheerful. All of this is wrapped up in catchy melodies, chansons, and pop songs with a hint of jazz and rock 'n' roll.

Sarah Bowman

Sarah Bowman

As a mother of two school-age children, Sarah is used to singing children's songs. Although English is her native language, she speaks German. Since becoming a father, he has expanded his repertoire to include children's songs.
